The Los Angeles Rams are trading wide receiver Van Jefferson to the Atlanta Falcons, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The teams will swap sixth- and seventh-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft as a part of the deal, per Rapoport.
Jefferson fell down the Rams’ depth chart this season after Tutu Atwell and rookie star Puka Nacua emerged as more frequent targets. The former second-round pick only played two snaps against the Philadelphia Eagles after Cooper Kupp returned from injury.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Jefferson joins a wide receiver room featuring Drake London, Mack Hollins, Scott Miller, and KhaDarel Hodge. London leads the wideouts with 17 receptions, 204 yards, and a pair of touchdowns, but tight ends Jonnu Smith (246) and Kyle Pitts (208) outpace the receiver in yardage.
