Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan said “all options are on the table” until he gets at least one of his 2024 quarterbacks under contract.
“The reality is last year we went into this understanding that we had three quarterbacks in the last year of their deal,” Khan said Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine, according to Mark Kaboly of “The Pat McAfee Show.” “And here we are. Until we get one of those guys or two of those guys or some combination of them signed up, all options are on the table.”
Khan added that he’s already had conversations with the representatives of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Khan said he believes both passers are interested in returning, and he would like to complete a deal with at least one of them prior to the start of free agency, according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
