Luka Doncic recorded his first triple-double with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, putting up 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists in a 107-99 victory over his former team, the Dallas Mavericks.
It was Doncic’s first game against the Mavericks since the franchise shockingly traded him to the Lakers earlier in February.
Doncic, 25, became the second player in NBA history to record a triple-double playing for and against the same team in a season, according to The Associated Press’ Josh Dubow. James Harden did it in 2021-22 with and versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
