The Chicago Bears are trading a 2026 fourth-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for offensive lineman Joe Thuney, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Chicago is actively trying to rework its offensive line for next season. It sent a sixth-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams for interior offensive lineman Jonah Jackson earlier this week. Caleb Williams suffered more sacks than any other quarterback (68) in the NFL last season.
Thuney has been with the Kansas City Chiefs since he signed a five-year, $80-million contract during free agency in 2021. He spent the first five years of his career with the New England Patriots.
