The Philadelphia Eagles reworked offensive tackle Lane Johnson’s contract, extending him through 2027 while also adding $8 million in salary and $30 million in guarantees over the next two seasons, his agent told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Johnson will now rack in $48 million over the next two years with $40 million guaranteed, Schefter adds. The Eagles confirmed Johnson’s one-year extension through 2027 but didn’t reveal financial terms.
The 34-year-old had one season remaining on his previous deal.
