Quarterback Cam Ward made a case for himself Monday at Miami’s pro day, attempting to prove to all 32 NFL clubs, including the Tennessee Titans, that he’s worthy of the first overall selection in the upcoming NFL draft.
Ward is among a handful of prospects in contention to be selected first overall when the Titans are on the clock. Tennessee was represented by a large contingent at the event, including head coach Brian Callahan, general manager Mike Borgonzi, and president of football operations Chad Brinker.
Ward made sure to inform the Titans’ brass that he deserves to be the top selection following a downfield completion to receiver Xavier Restrepo.
