Mike Bibby agreed to become the head coach of Sacramento State, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Bibby played 14 NBA seasons for six different franchises before transitioning to coaching in 2013, during which time he averaged 14.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.1 rebounds in 1,001 games.
The 46-year-old spent six years as a coach at his former high school, Shadow Mountain, in Phoenix. He led the program to five state championships.
