U.S. Soccer and CBS Sports have signed a multi-year agreement making CBS Sports the exclusive English-language broadcaster of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through 2026. Starting from the Third Round (April 15), all matches will stream live on Paramount+, with select games airing on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network. The First and Second Rounds will stream on U.S. Soccer’s YouTube channel, ensuring complete tournament coverage.
CBS Sports will also produce studio shows, highlights, and editorial content, promoting the tournament’s history and participating teams. The 2025 Open Cup includes a $1 million prize pool, with the champion earning $600,000 and a spot in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup. The defending champion is Los Angeles FC, who won in 2024.
