The New York Yankees on Tuesday announced that they have signed right-handed pitcher Adam Ottavino to a Major League contract and added him to the active roster.
Ottavino, 39, went 2-2 with one save and a 4.34 ERA (56.0IP, 49H, 29R/27ER, 23BB, 70K, 6HR) in 60 relief appearances with the New York Mets in 2024. He limited opposing right-handed batters to a .199/.278/.257 (27-for-136) slash line. Ottavino also stranded 15 of his 20 inherited runners last season (75.0%).
