The New York Giants selected Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 25th overall.
New York traded pick Nos. 34 and 99 as well as a 2026 third-rounder to the Houston Texans for the 25th selection, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Dart becomes the second signal-caller selected after Miami’s Cam Ward. The 21-year-old was a three-year starter at Ole Miss before going pro. He threw for 4,279 yards with 29 touchdowns and six interceptions last season.
The Giants’ quarterback room now includes Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Dart.
