Along the Florida Turnpike this weekend, aggressive drivers will risk their lives to get the slightest edge against everyone else on the road.
But this isn’t your everyday rush hour.
Why it matters: The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix returns to Hard Rock Stadium starting Friday, bringing three days of officially sanctioned, high-speed racing action.
Here’s your complete guide to the action:
How It Works
Twenty drivers from 10 teams will compete around a temporary circuit built around Hard Rock Stadium, reaching speeds close to 200 mph.
The main event is the Grand Prix race on Sunday afternoon, but the weekend includes plenty of on-track action, including a Sprint race on Saturday and practice and qualifying sessions earlier in the weekend.
Fans can also catch races from the all-female F1 Academy series and the Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
