Why it matters: The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix returns to Hard Rock Stadium starting Friday, bringing three days of officially sanctioned, high-speed racing action.

Twenty drivers from 10 teams will compete around a temporary circuit built around Hard Rock Stadium, reaching speeds close to 200 mph.
The main event is the Grand Prix race on Sunday afternoon, but the weekend includes plenty of on-track action, including a Sprint race on Saturday and practice and qualifying sessions earlier in the weekend.
