The Green Bay Packers are evaluating all options with cornerback Jaire Alexander, including retaining or releasing him, a source told ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.
Alexander was reportedly placed on the trade block earlier in April and wasn’t expected to play for the Packers in 2025. He has two years remaining on the four-year, $84-million extension he signed in 2022.
The two-time Pro Bowler appeared in just seven games during the 2024 season and finished the year on injured reserve due to a PCL injury that required surgery. The 5-foot-10, 196-pounder tallied seven pass deflections and a pair of interceptions, including a pick-6, in his limited action.
