The NFL is finalizing a deal to stream its Sept. 5, 2025, Brazil game for free on YouTube, expanding its reach through the platform’s 2.5 billion global users. The game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL’s top viewership draw) vs. the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo. The move could break the league’s current streaming viewership record and marks a deeper partnership with digital platforms.
This international opener also aligns with the NFL’s broader global growth strategy, having aired last year’s Brazil game on Peacock. Meanwhile, Amazon, Netflix, and YouTube are playing larger roles in NFL broadcasting as the league targets younger, global audiences.
The NFL’s 2025 schedule will be released May 14, with key game announcements beginning May 12. The international slate, including Brazil, will be revealed May 13. The season will open with the Eagles (defending champs), followed by the Brazil game—flipping last year’s order—to keep both top-drawing teams in the spotlight.
