The Philadelphia Eagles are working to finalize a trade that would send pass-rusher Bryce Huff to the San Francisco 49ers for a mid-round pick, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Huff has already reworked his contract to help facilitate the trade, though the transaction can’t be officially processed until after June 1, Schefter adds.
The pass-rusher was slated to make $17 million in fully guaranteed money this season, but the Eagles would take on $9.05 million, while the 49ers will be on the hook for the remaining $7.95 million, Schefter reports.
Philadelphia would create north of $15 million in 2025 cap space with the trade, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
