Kevin Durant’s time with the Phoenix Suns may be coming to an end.
The Suns are in “aggressive pursuit” of a trade partner for the 15-time All-Star and have gradually lowered their asking price, sources told The Athletic’s Kelly Iko.
The Suns’ main priority is to regain full control of their draft capital, including the No. 10 pick in the upcoming draft, Iko adds.
Durant has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons in Phoenix and has just one playoff series win to show for it. The 36-year-old averaged 26.6 points, six rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 62 games last campaign. He’ll make $54.7 million in 2025-26 and is set to become a free agent next summer.
