Mercedes driver George Russell won the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on Sunday for his first Formula 1 victory of the season.
Russell’s victory came after he started from the pole position following Saturday’s qualifying.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished second after winning the race for three straight years between 2022-24, while Russell’s teammate, Kimi Antonelli, became the third-youngest driver to reach the podium in F1 history thanks to a third-place finish.
