The Miami Dolphins are trading cornerback Jalen Ramsey, tight end Jonnu Smith, and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 2027 fifth-round pick, sources told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
Ramsey will receive a $1.5-million raise as part of the trade, bringing his maximum 2025 compensation up to $26.6 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 30-year-old Ramsey has been with the Dolphins since 2023. He was put on the trade block in April and didn’t attend Miami’s mandatory minicamp practices.
