LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier won’t miss any significant time after aggravating the patellar tendinitis in his knee during practice Wednesday.
“It’s not torn, there’s no fraying, there’s none of that,” Tigers coach Brian Kelly said Friday, shutting down speculation that Nussmeier suffered a major injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.
“This is preexisting. … He aggravated it a little bit, but he’s good to go.”
