Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced that pass-rusher T.J. Watt will miss Monday’s game against the Miami Dolphins after undergoing lung surgery, according to team reporter Teresa Varley.
Watt underwent a procedure Thursday to stabilize and repair a partially collapsed lung he suffered Wednesday following a dry needling treatment session at the Steelers’ facility, according to his brother J.J. Watt.
“He and his family are very appreciative of everyone’s kind words and well wishes,” J.J. Watt added.
