Reigning Credit One Charleston Open champion Jessica Pegula defeated 18-year-old Iva Jovic in a tense semifinal to reach her second straight final in the Holy City tournament.
Pegula took the opening set six to four, but Jovic fought back to claim the second seven to five. That meant the 2025 champion would have to win the third set to advance for the fourth straight day.
