The Las Vegas Raiders have long been expected to take quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but that hasn’t stopped teams from inquiring about a potential trade for this year’s No. 1 selection.
“We’ve gotten a few calls, and those teams know where they stand,” Raiders general manager John Spytek said Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Ryan McFadden.
Spytek also addressed the possibility of making trades during this year’s draft, which takes place April 23-25.
