New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte will show up for mandatory minicamp despite rumors that he’s looking for a new home, he told CBS Boston’s Dan Roche.
Boutte is fresh off skipping voluntary practices for the first time in four offseasons. He’s heading into a contract year but appears destined for a reduced role, with the Patriots integrating impact acquisitions A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs.
“I try not to buy into it,” Boutte said of the trade winds. “At the end of the day, I can control what I can control. As long as I do what I’m supposed to do off the field, everything else will play out.”
