The Tennessee Titans are making Jeffery Simmons the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history with a three-year, $105.8-million extension that includes $100 million in guaranteed money, his agency announced Friday.
Simmons previously had two years remaining on a four-year, $94-million contract he signed in 2023. He’s been with the Titans since they selected him 19th overall in the 2019 draft.
“Tennessee has become a second home for me,” Simmons said in a statement. “From Day 1, this organization believed in me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to pour into this franchise and community.”
