The Jacksonville Jaguars signed tight end Brenton Strange to a three-year extension worth up to $48 million, his agents told NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo on Wednesday.
Strange’s deal also reportedly includes $25 million in guaranteed money. He’s been with the Jaguars since they selected him in the second round of the 2023 draft out of Penn State. Strange was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next spring.
The 25-year-old had a career year in 2025, recording 46 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. His 11.7 yards per reception ranked seventh among all tight ends.
