The San Antonio Spurs are signing forward Julian Champagnie to a new three-year, $45-million contract, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Champagnie’s deal locks him up through the 2028-29 season. The Spurs declined his $3-million team option to sign him to this new contract.
The 25-year-old played a crucial role in San Antonio’s playoff run, averaging 11.2 points and 5.7 rebounds as the Spurs made the Finals.
