Team Talent Formula 2019

Posted on February 23, 2019February 23, 2019 by Tyler Turner

*I revised my original metrics and came up with a more accurate formula. The main reason for this is to put a value on every blue Chip (4 star) player on each subsequent roster. This metric is more accurate measurement of the actual team talent on each team in top 25.

  1. Alabama (186 points)- 12 five stars & 60 four stars (22 in top 100).
  2. Ohio state (174.1 points)-13 five stars & 53 four stars (18 top 100).
  3. Georgia (154 points)-14 five stars & 40 four stars (13 Top 100 )
  4. LSU (131.4 points)-7 five stars & 48 four stars (12 Top 100)
  5. Texas (105.1 points)-4 five stars & 44 four stars (13 top 100)
  6. Oklahoma (105 points)-5 five stars & 47 four stars (9 top 100)
  7. USC-(104.5 points)-5 five stars & 37 four stars (13 Top 100 four stars)
  8. Florida State (103.5 points)-5 five stars & 39 four stars (12 top 100)
  9. Clemson (103.2 points)-7 five stars & 38 four stars (8 top 100)
  10. Penn State (96.2 points)-4 five stars & 46 four stars (9 top 100)
  11. Michigan (85.7 points)-4 five stars & 43 four stars (6 top 100)
  12. Texas A&M (84.9 points)-2 five stars & 42 four stars (10 top 100)
  13. Auburn (83.9 points)-3 five stars & 40 four stars (7 top 100)
  14. Florida (83.4 points)-47 four stars(12 top 100
  15. Notre Dame (82.7 points)-1 five Star & 43 four stars (11 top 100)
  16. Tennessee (70.2 points)-3 five stars & 31 four stars (7 top 100)
  17. Miami (66.9 points)- 1 five star & 37 four stars (9 top 100)
  18. Oregon (62.9 points)-1 five Star & 30 four stars (9 top 100)
  19. Washington (60.7 points)-1 five stars & 41 four stars (5 top 100)
  20. Stanford (49.2 points)-3 five stars & 25 four stars (4 top 100)
  21. South Carolina (41.4 points)-1 five Star & 27 four stars (2 top 100)
  22. UCLA (39.9 points)-3 five stars & 17 four stars (3 top 100)
  23. Mississippi State (38.5 points)- 1 five star & 23 four stars (5 top 100)
  24. Ole Miss (28 points)- 1 five stars & 18 four stars (2 top 100)
  25. Nebraska (27.8 points)-22 four stars (2 top 100)

▪️My formula for coming up with these rankings:

-(per team it is 25 minus 5 year recruiting ranking average + 5 points per five star + 3 points per top 100 four star + 1 point per subsequent blue chipper/4 star=Final point total)
