In my revised Team talent formula I removed the Big 10 and PAC 12. My new formula is just SEC, ACC and Big 12 teams. This formula is very SEC heavy with 12 of the top 20 being from their conference.
2020 Team Talent Formula
-6 points for the top 10 players per the 247 Composite a rating of (99.50 >)
-5 points for 5 star rated players (98.34 -99.5)
-4 points for players rated (97.5-98.33) in the composite (Top 50 Four star players)
-3 points for players rated 95.5-97.49 (Top 100 Four star players)
-2 points for players rated 92-95.49 (Top 200 Four star players)
-1 point for players rated 89-91.99 (subsequent Four star players)
-0.5 for players rated 87-88.99 (high Three stars, usually a Four star by a least one of the three recruiting services)
-2016 class average per player weighted at 20% + 2017 class average per player weighted at 60% + 2018 class average per player weighted at 80% + 2019 class average per player weighted at 95% + 2020 class average per player full weight)
Add the totals and that equals the baseline talent score
*I use the (2016-2019) 247 sports enrolled rankings for the most accurate roster per class data
