SEC, ESPN officially announce new rights deal, moving SEC afternoon games and SEC Championship from CBS to ABC

The long-rumored rights deal between the SEC and ESPN, which would move the SEC’s ballyhooed game of the week package and the SEC Championship to ABC, was officially announced on Thursday.
