Liverpool reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Moises Caicedo for a British record £110-million fee, sources told David Ornstein of The Athletic.
Brighton held an auction for their star midfielder that ended Thursday, with Liverpool presenting the highest offer, according to Ornstein. Caicedo, 21, was heavily pursued by Chelsea all summer, but it was reported last month that the Blues were unwilling to meet Brighton’s £100-million valuation.
