Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers left Saturday’s 31-24 win against Houston with a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter.
The Longhorns had a 24-21 lead at the time of Ewers’ exit. Houston added a field goal to knot it up at 24 with under eight minutes to go before Texas recaptured the lead for good after CJ Baxter’s 16-yard touchdown run with 5:37 remaining.
“Quinn (Ewers) has a hurt shoulder,” head coach Steve Sarkisian, according to Inside Texas. “We’ll know tomorrow. He tried to play through it.”
