The New York Giants are starting veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor for Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Brian Daboll told reporters Wednesday, including Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.
DeVito became a fan favorite after winning three straight starts between Weeks 11 and 14. However, his performances have cratered over the last two weeks, both losses.
The undrafted rookie quarterback was benched in Monday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at halftime after completing nine of his 16 passes for 55 yards. Taylor finished the contest, throwing for one touchdown and one interception as the Giants lost 33-25.
