The Miami Dolphins and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio have agreed to part ways after one season together, the team announced Wednesday.
“When we assessed the season, it became apparent that this was the best path forward for all parties involved,” head coach Mike McDaniel said in a statement.
The Philadelphia Eagles are now targeting Fangio for their defensive coordinator vacancy and are expected to iron out a deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
