Arne Slot announced Friday that he’s set to shoulder the daunting task of succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
“There hasn’t been an official announcement yet – but I don’t think it will come as news to you that I will be coach there next season,” Slot told reporters.
Slot will, therefore, oversee his final match in charge of Feyenoord against Excelsior on Sunday. Liverpool are expected to announce his appointment soon after their season’s over.
Klopp’s tenure concludes with Sunday’s visit from Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.
