Alabama will honor legendary head coach Nick Saban by naming the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium after him, sources told ESPN’s Chris Low.
The Alabama system board of trustees is scheduled to meet on Friday, where the “consideration of resolution approving a naming at Bryant-Denny Stadium at UA” is set to be on the agenda, per Low.
Nick Saban Field is expected to become the new name of the football field, a source told AL.com’s Nick Kelly, who adds that a ceremony to dedicate the new field is expected to take place on Sept. 7 when Alabama hosts South Florida.
