New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is confident he’ll be good to go for Week 1 after suffering a low ankle sprain in practice.
“No doubt,” Nabers said when asked if he’ll be available, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN. “It wasn’t that bad of an injury … I’m just making sure I’m fine.”
Head coach Brian Daboll said the club ran tests on the ailment and confirmed there was no serious damage. Nabers also added that he felt good when doing light jogging before practice Tuesday.
