Sacramento State is in discussions with Michael Vick about making him the program’s next head coach, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Hornets – who currently play at the FCS level – plan to move up to the FBS with a new stadium and currently have $50 million in NIL funding, Schefter adds.
Sacramento State has been ramping up donations in hopes of getting a spot in the Pac-12 conference, according to Kenneth Teape of Sports Illustrated, with a target of raising $50 million earlier this year.
