Jimmy Butler exits Game 2 loss to Rockets with pelvis injury

Golden State Warriors veteran Jimmy Butler exited Wednesday’s 109-94 Game 2 loss to the Houston Rockets due to a pelvis contusion.

Butler sustained the injury in the first quarter after colliding with Rockets forward Amen Thompson, who tripped while the Warriors forward attempted to secure a rebound.

The Warriors announced Butler will undergo an MRI on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
