Giannis Antetokounmpo has yet to meet with the Milwaukee Bucks as he continues to mull his future, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on “The Pat McAfee Show” Tuesday.
However, the two parties are expected to meet during the offseason, Charania notes.
The Bucks are hoping Antetokounmpo will remain in Milwaukee out of loyalty, per Charania. The franchise is reportedly planning for a “gap year” to retool around the former MVP.
Milwaukee’s only tradable draft pick is a 2031 first-rounder. Center Brook Lopez, guard Gary Trent Jr., and wing Taurean Prince are all free agents, while Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton, and Kevin Porter Jr. have player options.
