Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told reporters Saturday that he isn’t considering moving Micah Parsons after the star pass-rusher requested a trade due to a contract dispute.
“I think the world of Micah. That’s just the part of negotiation,” Jones said of the trade request, according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “I don’t really place that with any seriousness.”
“I wouldn’t be standing here with you if I didn’t think we potentially had a great future with Micah (Parsons). We’re in good shape,” Jones added. “This is negotiation. But make no mistake about it, life has to go on if something happens to me or anybody else. Life does go on.”
