Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders isn’t expected to play in Saturday’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the team announced Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Sanders left Wednesday’s practice early after suffering an oblique injury during drills and didn’t play the rest of the session.
“Further medical testing and examination on Shedeur Sanders revealed an oblique strain,” the Browns said. “He is considered day-to-day, won’t practice tomorrow, and is unlikely to play in the game on Saturday.”
