Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is expected to undergo toe surgery, which will sideline him for at least three months, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Burrow exited in the second quarter of the Bengals’ 31-27 win Sunday over the Jacksonville Jaguars with a toe injury after getting sacked by Arik Armstead.
Burrow tried walking off the field under his own power, but he had a noticeable limp and fell to the ground after taking a couple of steps. After being evaluated in the Bengals’ medical tent, he made his way back to the locker room with the assistance of team trainers.
