San Francisco 49ers won’t have quarterback Brock Purdy available for Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a toe injury, the team announced Wednesday.
Mac Jones will presumably start at QB as the 3-1 Niners try to return to the win column after suffering their first loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones replaced an injured Purdy in two games this year, passing for four touchdowns against one interception while leading San Francisco to wins in both outings.
