Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans due to a hamstring injury, the team announced Friday.
Jackson suffered the injury in last week’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, exiting in the third quarter and not returning. Jackson hasn’t practiced this week.
Sunday’s game will be the first contest the two-time MVP has missed due to injury since a sprained PCL sidelined him for the final six matchups of the 2022 campaign.
Jackson’s recovery timeline remains unclear. The Ravens face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 and then have a bye in Week 7.
