The Los Angeles Chargers are placing rookie running back Omarion Hampton on injured reserve due to an ankle injury, head coach Jim Harbaugh announced Monday, according to The Athletic’s Daniel Popper.
Hampton, who left Sunday’s loss to the Washington Commanders early, will miss at least the next four games for L.A.
The first-round tailback was a key contributor in the Chargers’ offense to start the 2025 season, ranking 12th in the NFL with 450 scrimmage yards. He’s also scored two touchdowns this year.
