New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss “a couple of weeks” with a knee injury, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Wilson underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed he hyperextended his knee in Sunday’s 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos, Schefter reported. The wideout appears to have avoided a major injury, a source told Rich Cimini of ESPN.
The 25-year-old was hurt in the fourth quarter when he attempted to catch a ball out of his reach. He got up limping and ultimately missed the remainder of the game. Wilson finished the contest with three receptions for 13 yards on eight targets.
