The Toronto Blue Jays forced the 2025 American League Championship Series to a winner-take-all Game 7 with a 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners in Game 6 at Rogers Centre on Sunday.
Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the way offensively for Toronto. Barger went 2-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and three RBIs, while Guerrero continued his torrid postseason by homering and scoring two runs. Guerrero’s homer was the sixth of his postseason career, tying him with Joe Carter and José Bautista for the most in Blue Jays history.
Rookie Trey Yesavage struck out seven on six hits while allowing two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Louis Varland and Jeff Hoffman blanked the Mariners out of the bullpen to seal the victory.
