The Jacksonville Jaguars are listening to trade calls for second-year wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., reports The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.
However, a trade coming together seems highly unlikely, Russini adds. Still, the Jaguars not completely shutting down the idea comes as a surprise, considering the 23-year-old finished fourth in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting in 2024.
Thomas caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, earning a Pro Bowl nod. While his sophomore campaign has been slightly underwhelming relative to the lofty standards he established as a rookie, Thomas still paces Jacksonville with 365 receiving yards in seven games.
