The Detroit Lions are signing Aidan Hutchinson to a four-year, $180 million extension with $141M in total guarantees — the most guaranteed money ever for a non-quarterback.
The second overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hutchinson has quickly blossomed into one of the league’s most premier edge rushers, as he’s recorded 34.5 sacks through 46 career games.
Hutchinson is in the midst of a tremendous comeback season after his 2024 campaign was cut short due to a broken fibula and tibia. He’s put up six sacks and a league-leading four forced fumbles through seven games.
