Christian Pulisic will remain in Italy during the November international break after AC Milan and the U.S. Men’s National Team reached an agreement.
Pulisic is finishing recovery from a hamstring injury sustained with the USMNT on Oct. 14 and is expected to return for Milan’s Nov. 8 match against Parma, following their game versus Roma.
AC Milan persuaded U.S. coach Mauricio Pochettino to allow Pulisic to continue rehabbing rather than travel for the USMNT’s matches against Paraguay (Nov. 15) and Uruguay (Nov. 18). The decision ensures he avoids long travel soon after a month-long layoff.
Pulisic has been key to Milan’s strong start, contributing six goals and two assists in eight games and earning Serie A Player of the Month honors for September.
