Cornerback Darius Slay won’t report to the Buffalo Bills after they claimed him on waivers Wednesday, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Slay is unsure if he will continue playing and is contemplating retirement. The Pittsburgh Steelers released him earlier this week after he was a healthy scratch in their Week 13 contest against Buffalo.
“Slay is honored that a first-class organization like the Bills claimed him, but he is going to take some time away from football right now and decide in the next few days if he wants to keep playing,” Rosenhaus said.
